Daisy Trails Forest Preschool is nestled near the shores of Lake Tahoe, our program is grounded in nature-based, child-led learning for infants and toddlers ages 1 month to 4 years. While we are licensed for all ages, our heart lies in nurturing the youngest learners.

Our days are spent almost entirely outdoors, where children are free to explore, imagine, and connect deeply with the natural world. Our dedicated indoor and outdoor spaces are safe, inspiring, and developmentally appropriate—thoughtfully equipped with open-ended materials that encourage creativity, confidence, and joy.

Daisy Trails is fully licensed by the State of Nevada and proudly participates in QRIS (Quality Rating and Improvement System) and NAFCC (National Association for Family Child Care) accreditation. Our teachers have decades of experience as well as hold AA degrees in Early Childhood Education and are certified Forest School Leaders at Level 1, actively working toward Level 8 certification by next June.

We provide wholesome, homemade meals and snacks and offer a consistent daily rhythm filled with rich, meaningful experiences—art, music, movement, sensory play, storytelling, and project-based learning that follows the children’s interests and developmental needs.
