Northern Lights Community Celebration

Description

Saturday, December 5 | 3–5 PM | UNR Lake Tahoe Prim Library

The Northern Lights Holiday Community Celebration returns on Saturday, December 5, from 3–5 PM, bringing neighbors, families, and local organizations together to kick off the holiday season at the UNR Lake Tahoe Prim Library.

A favorite Incline Village holiday tradition, Northern Lights brings together the spirit of the former Candy Cane Lane + Village celebration with a focus on community giving, festive activities, and holiday fun for all ages.

At the heart of the celebration is the Giving Tree Forest, featuring decorated trees from local nonprofits and service clubs. Each tree highlights ways to support organizations making a difference in our community, whether through donations, volunteering, or getting involved.

Families can look forward to a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, holiday crafts, letters to Santa, and activities for the kids. Enjoy musical performances by local youth and community groups, explore the Giving Tree Forest, and connect with the organizations that do so much for Incline Village and Crystal Bay.

The afternoon will wrap up with the outdoor tree-lighting ceremony and the announcement of the Giving Tree contest winners.

Join your friends and neighbors for an afternoon of holiday traditions, community giving, and seasonal festivities as we welcome the holidays in Incline Village.

Local nonprofits and service clubs are invited to participate in the Giving Tree Forest.
