Tahoe Treks features inspirational stories from locals about their journeys far and wide. Scott Fitzgerrell will share photos and discuss the UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center (TERC) Circumnavigate Lake Tahoe event scheduled for June 19-25, 2023. Scott will present photos from the previous two years' events. Many people have paddled Lake Tahoe, but this event is unique. In addition to each day’s 6-13 miles of spectacular shoreline paddling, participants see, share, and learn about Lake Tahoe’s ecology, geology, and emerging challenges. Each day, TERC’s scientific experts deliver illuminating talks explaining the research TERC conducts to protect and restore Lake Tahoe.
