Management Analyst (Payroll)

Under general direction from Dir. of Finance & Finance Mgr., performs complex, professional-level financial analysis, payroll admin. & budgetary oversight; administering/supporting the District’s ERP financial modules. There are two Mgmt. Analyst positions w/one primarily responsible for ensuring the accuracy/integrity of budgetary & payroll data, while the other focuses on maintaining the general ledger. Each assist depts. w/budget prep, monitor budget execution & produce clear, accurate & complete reports for mgmt. & Board. Cross-trained on each other’s responsibilities. In addition, the role supports ERP sys. configuration, data reporting, payroll compliance, internal controls, preparing/maintaining policies & procedures & District-wide process improvement initiatives. Req: Ba or BS in Acctg. or Bus. Admin & min 2 yrs responsible managerial, fiscal, analytical, or gov’t admin. &/or analytical work, or equivalent combo educ/exp. MBA is helpful but not required with 2 yrs. public sector exp. preferred. Excellent org., admin., analytical, interpersonal & cust. svc. skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word. Strong written/verbal communication & adapt to changing org. needs. Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Details in Job Description. Position OPEN UNTIL FILLED.
