Parks & Recreation Operations Manager (FTYR)

Incline Village General Improvement District (IVGID) in now hiring an experienced & proactive, community-focused leader for all parks & recreation programs, facilities and staff.

This is a hands-on role responsible for delivering high-quality recreation services that reflect community needs while ensuring safe, efficient and fiscally responsible operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for parks, recreation facilities, aquatics, fitness, tennis/pickleball, beaches, and youth/senior programs
• Plan, implement, and evaluate recreation programs based on community needs and participation data
• Oversee parks maintenance to ensure safety, cleanliness, and appearance standards
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, revenues, expenses, and capital needs
• Supervise, schedule, train, and evaluate staff; lead recruitment and performance management
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Serve as the primary liaison to executive leadership, Board, and community stakeholders
• Deliver exceptional customer service and collaborate across departments

• Successful completion of State of Nevada/Federal background check

Compensation: $4,261 - $5,966/bi-weekly salary, DOE/DOQ ($110,781 - $155,106 annual). Listed Min. – Max.
