TAHOE FAMILY SOLUTIONS THRIFT STORE: PART TIME CONTRACTOR POSITION AVAILABLE (Furniture moving and organizing)

Tahoe Family Solutions Thrift Store is seeking an individual to organize and help pick up donated furniture throughout the North Tahoe Basin. Our ideal candidate has a flexible schedule and the ability to manage and move sometimes heavy furniture. They must have a current, valid driver’s license (they will be driving a TFS vehicle), and be willing to represent the organization by conducting themselves in a polite and courteous manner in their interactions with TFS donors and throughout the community. 

MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS include, but are not limited to: a clean driving record in Nevada and California and a current NV or CA driver’s license. Hours will vary between 10 to 15 per week, with weekend hours required. The contractor must be reliable and able to show up to work on time and as scheduled, and must be able to safely lift and carry 70 lbs and supervise a small crew. This is a contracted position at $30.00/hour. The contractor is responsible for filing their own IRS 1099 documents and returns.
